Welcome to Maryland One! A one stop shop for all your Hauling Permits in Maryland! As of August 15th, 2023, MD 147 (Harford Rd) over I 695 IL & OL will be reduced to 14 feet 6 inches high for painting and bridge cleaning. There is no ramping available at either location. This restriction will be in effect through November 2023. I-70 EB over Crystal Falls Drive Bridge Replacement Project: NO loads over 80k permitted across temporary bridge span until load has been evaluated. Blanket and Containerized Cargo haulers must contact permit office for loads that may need to be evaluated by bridge engineers for further directions. Suggested alternate route- I-70 WB, MD-66 SB(EXIT 35), US-40 EB, MD-17 SB, I-70 WB (EXIT 42) WORKZONE SAFETY TIPS- research your route, pay attention, slow down, move into open lane, and keep your distance. All boats being transported to the Pacific Northwest states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana MUST Call Before You Haul prior to transport by calling this toll-free number: 1-844-311-4873. Maryland Blanket Permits- **COMING SOON**- Blanket Permits will soon require ROUTE Authorization-they will be purchased the same way as today, with the exception of entering a route prior to each movement.
